Comparing with traditional technology in fermentation broth filtration, Suntar Flow-Cel separation technology can get the better filtrate quality with lower running cost. Nearly 500 sets of Flow-Cel UF system with a total membrane area up to ten thousands of square meters have been sold and installed, handling a capacity over 100,000 tons per day.
In 2007, Suntar upgraded the Flow-Cel system, the effective membrane area has been increased by nearly 43% under constant hydraulic conditions, which remarkably reduces the client’s investment cost. The new designed system is compatible to the original version, to ensure an easy and direct upgrade for the clients applying the original version. There are no system adaptations required for the switch from the original Flow-Cel system to the newly developed Flow-Cel unit.
